The Gwent branch of the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA) will once again host the Real Ale Bar at  the Festival.   Musicians and singers will be performing in the bar from time to time throughout the weekend.  The bar will be back in the Clore room as in previous years.

Subject to availability, the following beers from the following brewers will be available:

Tiny Rebel, Grey Trees, Tudor and Kingstone, plus some from other parts of Wales. In addition, a wide range of ciders and perries from Welsh cider and perry companies will also be available.

Our opening times are:

Friday 19:00 to midnight
Saturday 12:00 to midnight
Sunday 12:00 to 23:30 (or until beer runs out!)

CAMRA stands for the Campaign For Real Ale, and nearly 600 enthusiasts and committed movers and shakers have become members under the leadership of chairman Chris Gillette. CAMRA is petitioning against many issues concerning the pub trade and their customers, including the closure of many pubs all across Britain, and calling on the Government to stick to its promise of reforming the giant pub companies. Visit Gwent CAMRA’s website for more information about their activities.
